I just spent three days immersed in the three days of battles at Gettysburg, culminating with Pickett's Charge. It was an amazing solemn experience that still haunts me. I am so glad I was able to go and have such great professors and lectures to lead the way. The casualties and aftermath were a horror of ghastly proportions. Thank you for a great historical memory that so few know about. I really enjoyed this post.
